Vladivostok Film Commission

Vladivostok Film Commission was founded in 2003 in Vladivostok, Russia, and was the first Film Commission ever registered in the Russia Federation. It is a private company that was thought to be an organization specialized in supporting film industry, attracting Russian and foreign filmmakers to the city of Vladivostok and the Russian Far East, and providing various support, having a good weigh and wide range of contacts in different areas.

Since 2005 the Vladivostok Film Commission has become a member of the Asian Film Commissions Network and for the first years was part of the Board of Directors, and now is a regular member at the AFCNet organization.

Staying private organization inevitably it has become also a film production service company that provides full-scale services for film crews and companies planning to shoot in Vladivostok or elsewhere in Russia. Therefore fullfilling a doube role not only providing professional servcies but also making the service as cheap as possible for every filmmaker coming to the region, adjusting to their needs, knowing they shall come back again.

Today they Vladivostok Film Commission has launched with its colleagues a separate structure – Vlad Film Productions, a company providing full range of production services not only in the region, but in Moscow and St.Petersburg as well.

Vladivostok Film Commission provides all necessary information for film crews planning to shoot in the region, as well as preliminary location scout and information on costs and fees, such preliminary information is provided for free.

Vladivostok Film Commission along with the Vlad Film Productions provide full-scale production services for all types of budgets and teams, either documentary, film, TV, commercials or independent films.

Vladivostok Film Commission due to various contacts and many years of experience with its partners and friends through out the country, can provide services in different regions From Moscow or St. Petersburg to Sakhalin.
